Paul has been working as an attorney for over 20 years. He started his career as a patent agent at prominant law firms in Washington, DC. Paul's peers have recognized his people skills and legal skills, in that he has been named as a partner at three other law firms. Paul is the founder and a Member of the law firm, Praedcere Law. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and New York. His clients have included individuals, sole inventors, universities, research institutes and large and small companies in the U.S. and in foreign countries. Over the years he has learned from working with hundreds of ordinary folks, inventors, business people, other lawyers and patent examiners. He has a laser focus on getting the best results he can at a reasonable cost. He has obtained hundreds of patents for a wide range of technologies. Some examples of technologies in which Paul has obtained patents are the life sciences (anti-cancer drugs, stem cells, using DNA polymorphisms to treat disease, nucleic acid compositions and protein compositions), pharmaceuticals, medical devices, imaging devices, lighting, liquid crystal displays, solar cells, valves, high performance alloys, organic chemistry (e.g., catalysts for polymer synthesis), washcoats for catalytic converters, metallurgy, semiconductors and mechanical inventions (e.g., pumps for molten metal and vacuum pumps). Paul applies his experience to help you down a path to the results you need.
